Blended Learning Leadership Program IMPLEMENTATION OUTLINE
Year 1: Program Development and Promotion
August 2024 - July 2025
Month 1-3: Initial Introduction with Stakeholders
Share the Innovation Proposal letter, implementation outline, and video with the Curriculum Team: Asst. Superintendent for Curriculum, Curriculum Coordinators, Director of Instructional Technology, and SPED Director.
Ensure stakeholders understand the definition of blended learning (BL)
BL’s role in enhancing student-centered learning and engagement via student choice, ownership, voice, and authentic learning environments.
The importance of ongoing blended learning professional development and the connection to teacher self-efficacy.
Discuss questions, concerns, and feedback - Make adjustments as necessary.
Gain final approval in piloting the Blended Learning Leadership Program (BLLP).
Discuss the approved Implementation Plan and Outline for the BLLP with Principals and Asst. Principals during Curriculum meetings.
Month 4-6: Creation of Program Curriculum, Professional Development and Teacher Application
Begin developing the blended learning curriculum, including online modules (shared via Google Classroom) and in-person professional development.
All modules and professional development will be created with the teacher/learner in mind and will model the best practices for blended learning, allowing teachers to truly experience a blended, personalized learning environment.
Model Focus: Rotation Model and Flex Model
Develop the BLLP professional development schedule with the Curriculum Team.
Create the BLLP teacher application.
Collect feedback from stakeholders and make adjustments as needed.
Month 7-9: Program Promotion and Applicant Selection
Continue developing blended learning professional development.
Create a detailed website for promotion.
Begin promoting the BLLP via social media, email newsletters, and informational sessions for teachers (before school, after school, or during conference periods).
Begin the application process for teacher participants.
Month 10-12: Feedback and Program Adjustments
Share blended learning professional development curriculum and designs with stakeholders - collect feedback.
Use feedback to make necessary adjustments to the program.
Finalize the selection of teachers for the first cohort.
Year 2: Program Implementation and Evaluation
August 2025 - July 2026
Month 1-3: Professional Development Finalizations and BLLP Rollout
Meet with stakeholders to discuss the BLLP rollout plan and expectations.
Share the detailed professional development schedule with the first cohort in preparation for the first meeting.
Complete facility requests for professional development.
Begin modeled blended learning professional development with the first BLLP cohort.
Month 4-6: Classroom Visits and Mentorship
Begin classroom visits and provide feedforward to teachers.
Collaborate with teachers as needed.
Facilitate collaborative learning opportunities for teacher participants.
Collect feedback from teachers based on self-efficacy and their students’ learning, growth, and engagement.
Month 7-9: Ongoing Professional Development
Adjust professional development sessions based on feedback and teacher needs in order to continue an authentic, personalized, blended learning experience.
Continue providing teachers with collaborative learning opportunities with their cohort.
Continue classroom visits, collaboration, and feedforward with teachers.
Month 10-12: Program Evaluation & Reflection
Teachers participate in a BLLP Showcase and share their experience with board members, superintendents, principals, other district leaders, teachers, friends, etc.
Conduct mid-year program evaluations with teachers and collect feedback on program effectiveness.
Review program outcomes and make adjustments for the next cohort.
Begin the application process for the second cohort of teacher participants.

Your plan sounds great! I love that you have so much involvement in the classroom. So many PDs and trainings fizzle out so quickly. By offering to visit and assist in the classroom that is definitely a positive for a teacher on the fence about joining. I can’t wait to see all the great things that will happen in your district when you role out your innovation project!
